Ed Schultz, the founder and former owner of Calorwash Nursery, has published his own life’s story, “A Warrior’s Tale: From World War II to World Traveler.” After fighting in the South Pacific under Gen. Douglas MacArthur, he vowed that his killing days were over, and he wanted to do something more positive – like start a nursery. His book tells about his war years, his nursery years and his adventures as a world traveler, which included climbing high peaks on many continents, including Mt. Kenya in Kenya, and Mt. Popocatépetl, in Mexico. Ed also served as OAN president in 1978 and is an OAN Honorary Life Member. You can get your copy of the book by contacting Ed at 503-678-2221.
