The Pacific Northwest Peony Society will be hosting the American Peony Society Convention and Exhibition Friday–Sunday, May 27–29, with the Holiday Inn Wilsonville serving as the host property. It is the first time the event will be held on the West Coast, and people from across the United States are expected to attend. APS members will be touring area peony growers via bus on Friday, May 27. They will take part in a Friday evening dinner, Saturday seminars, a flower competition, and a dinner-auction Saturday night. There will also be a flower exhibit with vendors for the public from 1–5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday.
