The Oregon Association of Nurseries (OAN) is saddened to report the passing of Dr. Dave Adams, professor emeritus of horticulture at Oregon State University and retired nursery and greenhouse extension agent. Adams also was noted for his work with the Ornamental Northwest Seminars and the Master Gardeners. He passed away Tuesday, January 4.

Dr. Adams was an honorary life member of the OAN, and was one of just 53 individuals enshrined as a member of the Oregon Nurseries Hall of Fame. His contributions to the industry were vast and long lasting. A full obituary will appear in next week’s edition of the Member Update. Arrangements are pending.
