The Oregon Association of Nurseries will hold its second open house today, from 4-6 p.m. in the OAN building, 29751 S.W. Town Center Loop West, Wilsonville, Ore. (get directions)
The purpose of the gathering is to give members and non-members alike the chance to meet people, network, learn more about what 2009 has in store at OAN (from marketing to advocacy to education), and let us know what you want from your association. Please attend, and bring a guest — a fellow member, a non-member, or someone from the next generation of nursery owners.
According to OAN President Tom McNabb, the first one went very well. “It was great to meet so many members, and potential members,” he said. “We appreciate the fact that they made the time to come out, interact with industry members and OAN staff, and share their ideas.” Willamette Chapter made a contribution to help with the cost of the second open house. It will be another opportunity to meet, interact, share, and help keep the Oregon nursery industry strong. Refreshments, beer and wine will be served.
The staff of Digger will be there as well, and we hope to see you there. For details, call us at 503-682-5089 or (outside the Portland area) 1-800-342-6401.
