According to immigration law attorney Greg Siskind, the federal government will NOT enforce the new version of the No Match Rule until a judge lifts an injunction against the rule. Initially, that wasn’t clear. Also according to Siskind:
“One of the attorneys in the case contacted me last night and mentioned that the judge will be meeting with the parties in the next few days. Presumably, the litigants will fight to maintain the injunction.”
Siskind blogs frequently on the issue, and one of his recent entries explains the convoluted history of the No Match Rule lawsuit. If you’re interested in the details, or confused about what it all means, it’s worth a look.
