Your Farwest Trade Show social media headquarters

By Curt Kipp — Posted August 20, 2013

You may have noticed a change in the Daily Digger blog — as you can tell from the banner graphic, we have converted it into the Farwest Edition of Daily Digger! That’s because people are already arriving in town for the Farwest Trade Show, the largest nursery industry trade show in the West! People have already been visiting Oregon nurseries unofficially, and checking out what makes Oregon-grown plant material so outstanding. The official tours began this morning, and things will really get going on Thursday when the Farwest seminars begin at 9 a.m., and the expo doors open at noon.

Here at the Daily Digger blog — ahem, Farwest Edition Daily Digger blog — will be providing updates all throughout the show. We’ll talk about the morning seminars, afternoon haps on the expo floor, and even a few updates from the afternoon and evening social and networking events (cheers to the Farwest Pub Crawl!). In other words, this is a great place to follow what’s going on, see what you might have missed, and catch up at day’s end. Simply keep checking back here, or follow @FarwestShow on Twitter, and read what others have to say by following the #FindItAtFarwest hashtag.

Our coverage team will include Curt Kipp (Digger editor), Peter Szymczak (Digger writer and art director), Ann Murphy (OAN Marketing Director), Crystal Cady (Farwest Seminar Coordinator) and Jamie Fletcher (OAN Membership and Events Coordinator). We will be headquartered at the OAN Resource Center (Booth 13027), right in the middle of the show floor. Stop by and say hello! All of us would love to meet you. And if you have show-related news you’d like to share, we’re ready to listen and help you spread the word.

#FindItAtFarwest!
