Little Prince of Oregon Nursery wins Best in Show booth award at 2021 Farwest Show

By Curt Kipp — Posted August 19, 2021

Farwest Show exhibitors are known for their creativity, and for the 2021 edition of the show, that hasn’t changed. Judges walked the floor to find the best of the best, recognizing several winners with the Ted Van Veen Best in Show booth awards. The show runs through Friday, August 20, at the Oregon Convention Center in downtown Portland, Oregon.

“Our Farwest exhibitors take pride in showing off the best that the nursery industry has to offer,” Show Director Allan Niemi said. “For 2021, they were glad to get back to Farwest. Their creative booths only served to highlight what they do best, which would be their plants and products.”

Winning the overall Best in Show booth award was Little Prince of Oregon Nursery (Booth #7025), for their booth that featured a tropical design. The booth also collected an award for Best 10×10 Booth, Grower Division.

The Best in Show booth award comes with a free 10×10 booth space for the 2020 Farwest Show. Other Best of Division award winners included the following:

Grower

  • Best 10×20 or Larger Row Booth – Cascade Tropicals (Booth #17012)
  • Best Island Booth — Bountiful Farms (Booth #16037)

Service/Supply

  • Best 10×10 Booth – SeaCoast Compost (Booth #13014)
  • Best 10×20 or Larger Row Booth – Phillips Soil Products (Booth #12043)
  • Best Island Booth — Bellpark Horticulture (Booth #11019)

The show also recognized exhibitors who put extra creativity into their booths with three Far From Ordinary booth awards. Winning that award this year were Brooks Tree Farm (Booth #10043), Farmers Defense (Booth #18055) and Means Nursery (Booth #15011).

The Farwest Show serves professionals engaged in the nursery industry and related trades, including retail nurseries, wholesale growers, landscapers, landscape designers, and others involved in the green industry. For more information about the 2021 Farwest Show, visit www.farwestshow.com.
