Practical pesticide safety workshop for OAN nurseries

By Bill Goloski — Posted June 4, 2018

Pacific Northwest Agriculture Safety and Health CenterJoin us for the grower-to-grower conversation about reducing pesticide exposure 8–9:15 a.m. Friday, June 15, at the OAN offices, 29751 SW Town Center Loop W. Wilsonville, Oregon.

The Practical Solutions for Pesticide Safety Project (PSPS2) is gathering the firsthand knowledge from growers, operators, and employees who use handheld pesticide applicators and sharing their field-tested tactics that meet Worker Protective Standards (WSP) with other nurseries. The workshop will have examples of some equipment used for you to see and try out, and attendees can use this opportunity to talk about your needs and your innovative solutions.

This is an OAN member-only event, and free to attend. The materials provided will be available in both English and Spanish.

OAN, SAIF, and the Oregon State University Pesticide Safety Education Program (OSU-PSEP) have partnered with Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center (PNASH) for PSPS2. This project is funded by the CDC/NIOSH Ag Center Cooperative Agreement #54OH007544.

Register to attend on OAN website events page.
