The Oregon Association of Nurseries is taking a lead role in the sustainability trend, with introduction of a new sustainaibility initiative. The process will be led by a member task force, which will be working with recognized experts to arrive at an appropriate definition of sustainability for the horticulture industry. The process will lead to a special issue of Digger which will relate the results and outcomes and how they relate to growers and retailers. Read the press release for all the details.
