Ahmed Hassan is coming to the Yard, Garden & Patio Show Presented by Dennis’ 7 Dees, Feb. 17–19 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Ore. Twice daily, the celebrity landscape designer and television personality will give interactive demonstrations on the show floor that entertain and inspire people to do more with their garden.
“We are extremely excited to bring Ahmed Hassan to YGP 2012,” show manager Allan Niemi said. “His show ‘Yard Crashers’ is wildly popular and his presence at YGP will expose the event to an entirely new audience. We’ll have his presentations live onstage on the show floor so that everyone will have a chance to see him.”
The show hours will be 10 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Friday–Saturday, Feb. 17–18, and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Hassan’s demonstrations will be at noon and 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon and 3 p.m. Sunday. Since 2008 Hassan and his team have surprised families with customized residential landscapes and upgraded homes on DIY Network’s “Yard Crashers.” Following a series of hosting stints for numerous DIY Network television shows including “The Dirt On…,” “Green Me Up,” and “Blog Cabin,” the network created the series to showcase Hassan’s high energy, motivational spirit and love for everything green. He has served as guest contributor for the CBS Early Show and NBC’s Today Show. He is a guest columnist for several publications including the new HGTV magazine.
