Congratulations to Oregon retailer Bauman Farm & Garden in Gervais, Ore. The destination garden center recently was featured in the current issue of Garden Center Magazine.
Unlike the typical garden center, Bauman’s has made fall their busiest time of year. Through a number of popular events, they have become a destination, particularly during pumpkin harvest time. They’ve also employed clever marketing to keep bringing customers back. General manager Brian Bauman notes that most customers come from more than 30 miles away.
